The Mitchell River starts with this magnificent natural formation of silt jetties - the second longest in the world.
There's a public jetty just inside the river, suitable for overnight moorings. Further along, at the cliffs, there's good mooring with a picnic spot and good swimming.
You can travel as far as Bairnsdale. |  | |
