Tanjil 41

Sleeps max 11 people

Tanjil is a large, comfortable cruiser  full of natural light and is perfect for families or groups wanting to cruise with style. Ideal for 8-10 people, this boat can accommodate up to 11 using the berths across four private cabins. It is easy to drive and the perfect choice for families with children due to the layout, accommodation, external deck spaces and railing makes manoeuvrability around the deck so easy.

The ducted heating system is unique on a boat and offers year-round comfort. With four private cabins and two bathrooms, open plan saloon and galley, there is ample space for everyone to spend time together over a meal and retreat to private quarters, if desired. There is a flat screen TV and DVD player, and a radio and CD player in the saloon area. The galley is equipped with a gas 4-burner stove top, compact oven/grill, pots /pans and utensils, crockery, cutlery and glassware. The fridge is a bar style fridge, with the best use of space being food packed in lunch boxes for easy stacking. Split level sun decks provide the ultimate outdoor living spaces, with room to laze in the sunshine, enjoy the scenery, throw in a fishing line or swim off the back of the boat.

The berth arrangement is as follows:
cabin 1 (V-berth): double plus single
cabin 2: two singles (bunk arrangement)
cabin 3: double on bottom, single on top (bunk arrangement)
cabin 4: double on bottom, single on top (bunk arrangement)
NOTE: Tanjil has several sets of steps throughout the vessel. Consider the mobility of each of your crew.

Up top, the flybridge provides the greatest view across the water and surrounds while you are cruising and is a lovely place to be once moored for evening drinks and nibbles. With the option of manning the helm from either inside the cabin or up on the flybridge, year round comfort is assured. If you are after a large, spacious, light-filled cruising boat, you will love Tanjil and the experiences she can offer.

The Details

Start and Finish Times (or Boarding and Disembarking if you want to be Nautical!)

Because your boating holiday is so much more than just a bed, we make sure you can enjoy full days. We count your booking in days, not nights – that’s a bit different from booking a motel or hotel room.

But to give you extra value for money, we invite you to arrive (after 6 pm) the evening before your holiday begins, board your boat and stay overnight at our marina. This is FREE. It’s a great start to your holiday – no early morning rush to get here, just a peaceful evening to settle in and start your holiday in a relaxing way.

On the final day, you are not due to have disembarked until 3pm. This means we need the boat handed back to us with all your belongings removed by 3pm.

Seven day holiday example: Monday to Sunday. We invite you to board on Sunday evening, staying at our marina. We take you through the briefing on Monday morning, and the boat is not due back until 3pm on the following Sunday. Two day example: board Friday evening and return Sunday afternoon.

Check the difference (and the value for money)
– Riviera Nautic five days: 8.30 am Monday (but board Sunday night!) until 3pm Friday
– Most other boating holiday companies’ five days: midday or later Monday to 10 am Friday
– Riviera Nautic’s five days is 23 hours longer!

Deposit and Security Bond Information

A $600 deposit towards your charter fee confirms your booking. This is due within seven days of making a booking.

The balance is due 14 days before your holiday starts, or in the case of peak periods, 30 days in advance.

Boat insurance is included in the charter rate, and it protects you against mishaps. The insurance excess is $2000. So we ask for a security bond of $2000 at the start of your holiday which we refund in full at the end of your holiday, when you return the boat in good condition.  You have the option to reduce your security exposure to $600 by paying a daily bond reduction fee of $25.

Credit card payments: we accept Visa and Mastercard. If you wish to pay by Amex or Diners a 3% surcharge applies.

We recommend you take out travel insurance against the possible need to cancel your booking.

Bookings and Payment Terms

We will reserve the Vessel for your exclusive use during the Charter Period, provided that you sign and return the Agreement by the date specified.

  • You undertake to pay the balance of the charter fees by the due date. If you do not do so we will be entitled to treat this Agreement as having been cancelled by you.

Cancellation

If you cancel this Agreement and;

  • you give us written notice of cancellation at least thirty (30) clear days prior to the start date, we will refund the monies that you have paid us less a $75 administration fee. The refund may be taken as a credit to an alternative date within twelve months of the original booking after which it is an automatic cancellation and all monies are forfeited.
  • you give us less than thirty (30) days notice, you will forfeit all monies paid, and we reserve the right to bring an action for all monies due but unpaid under this Agreement. However, if we can obtain a replacement booking we will refund to you an amount equivalent to the money received from the replacement booking, less our reasonable administrative costs associated with your cancellation and the $75 administration fee, up to the amount of your money that we are holding.
  • Bookings are not cancelled or transferred due to inclement weather.
