Riviera Nautic is based in Metung, arguably the prettiest village in Victoria. Metung is at the eastern end of the Lakes system set on the hills around the sheltered waters of Bancroft Bay. We’re on the shore of lovely Chinaman’s Creek at the entrance to Metung. The boats are in our marina on the left as you enter Metung, the office on your right. From Melbourne, follow the Princes Highway through Bairnsdale, turn right at Swan Reach just over the Tambo River, and follow this road for about 8 kilometres – you’ll come directly to our door.
Public Transport
As you don’t need a car when you get here, why not leave it at home and catch the train? It’s good for the environment and you can read all the way!
From Melbourne:
Train to Bairnsdale and taxi to Metung, or coach from Bairnsdale to Swan Reach and taxi to Metung (about 10 kms).
From Sydney:
Coach to Lakes Entrance, taxi to Metung
